14 WordPress Website Tips
I see a lot of you starting up WordPress website for your author name, so I thought I would share a few tips and please add more if you have one to share. (I am referring to using hosting with WordPress .org not the .com)
1. Do make sure you use a name other than admin for your log in. This is the default name give out by WordPress Website and the first part of the equation hackers try.
2. Consider adding Wordfence to your site to block hack attacks. Believe it or not hack attempts are common even for little sites. I use the free version.
3. Check out Statcounter You can add this to your site to see who visits, where they are coming from, how long they are staying and other details. They have a wonderful free version.
4. Be sure to add an FTC Disclosure and a separate Amazon disclosure if you are an affiliate. These are required by the FTC and Amazon. A privacy policy and contact box are very good to have on your site also.
5. Let your readers know what action you want them to take when they are on your WordPress Website. Keeping the site simple with your latest posts and a sign up for the newsletter box is much better than confusing your reader about where to look and what to do.
6. Have a call to action at the end of your posts. So if you want people to buy your book or sign up be sure to ask for that.
7. Remember that people tend to skim so make your posts easy to read. Break up text with bullet points or easy small conversational bites.
8. Get that newsletter sign up on every page.
9. Use a plug in to block spam such as Askimet.
10. Back up your website online and offline. This is your WordPress Website business to protect.
11. Set things up to renew your domain name automatically, heaven forbid you lose your domain name.
12. Avoid using free themes unless they are directly from WordPress Website.

There is no guarantee on a Facebook viral marketing campaign as many factors are involved for success. The viral campaign normally starts with a call to raise votes or fans on promoting the business offerings.
The marketing campaign must really generate a buzz that stirs up the curiosity of web consumers about the business brand or offering that they are willing to participate in this venture. The result would be humongous with thousands of mail sent across the Internet in a few minutes.
However, in order to generate this hyped up buzz in a Facebook social campaign that would turn viral, a lot of hard work and planning must be activated. The marketing theme and plan must be well thought through in detail to find the right words and presentation that would make a strong and compelling impact on readers to share the news on social media sites like Facebook. Every participant in a viral marketing campaign is a winner with the online entrepreneur raking in potentially higher earnings.
If the online business owner or marketer is unable to generate creative and unique ideas that are suitable for a potential Facebook viral marketing effect, professional marketing experts are readily available in the market to assist for a fee.
