If you’re in a niche like software reviews, though, stick with Google or other platforms. But remember, the two decisions—traffic source and niche—are closely related.
Pinterest’s visual search engine capabilities are an excellent fit for visually-driven content. It’s essential to recognise that each platform has its unique audience, and tailoring your content to match the characteristics of that audience is crucial. For example, Pinterest users are often looking for inspiration and ideas, which makes it a great place to share how-to guides and tutorials. Meanwhile, Google users might be looking to solve specific problems or find detailed product reviews. This means that your content strategy should adjust accordingly, focusing on visual appeal and concise, actionable ideas for Pinterest, as well as detailed, informative content for Google.
Step 2: Avoid Common Mistakes
Now, let’s talk about mistakes. First, ignoring mobile optimisation is a rookie error. Most of your visitors will be on mobile, so make sure your site is mobile-friendly.
